Cell Phone lookup

What I love best about cell phones is how easy it is to screen calls. Anyone who’s number is already in my phone book comes up with their name and I can decide if I want to take the call. The problems start though when you get calls from someone who’s number is not known. Recently I have had a spate of crank calls where someone kept calling and just hanging up. While its more of a nuisance than a worry for me , if it was my wife or son that were getting these kinds of calls I would be very angry indeed.

I decided to do a bit of research into this and it was then that I learned about a new service called a reverse cellphone number lookup. It turns out that traditionally, crank callers and nuisance callers have preferred to use cellphones because they are harder to trace. Until recently there haven’t been any readily accessible directories which have had good up to date information about cellphone numbers. The good news is though that thanks to the internet, that has now changed.

A reverse cellphone number service is a website where you simply enter the cellphone number you are trying to trace and within a few seconds the owners information is returned to you. These services are very expensive to set  up and maintain so it has to be said that the best ones are the ones that charge a small fee for the search. At least this way you can be sure of quality information.

I found a service that allowed me to do a search for under $10, and within 5 minutes I had contacted the crank callers cellphone company with their name, address and dates and times of calls.

They investigated the problem and I haven’t had any more calls since, so I can only assume that the details I provided them with were enough to track the person down and cut off their service. All thanks to a reverse cellphone number lookup service.
